I want to introduce a restaurant I like.Name of the restaurant is "Chimney Ghiotto"
This is a Italian restaurant where is located at Tsukuba in Ibaraki. Pasta and pizza is very delicious. The pizza is baked in stone oven which is bigger than normal one.My recommendation is smoked salmon pasta. The smell of smoked salmon is good and the cream sauce is mild.If you press juice out of a lemon, you can eat more tasty pasta.
I would like you to go the restaurant!

I'm quite the connoisseur, and I've been around to many Italian restaurants in Tokyo. There is one in Mejiro called Gattaiola Dolci, which means "cat-door to sweets." Three Japanese people run the bar, but they go to Toscana at least three times every year to get fresh Italian ingredients and coffee. To Italians, Italian coffee is real coffee, and everything else (like American or Japanese coffee) is not coffee, just caffeinated water. The bar is famous for its zuccotto, an Italian dessert consisting of a frozen mixed cream of yogurt/hazelnut/chocolate covered by a thin layer of sponge on the outside. It's a few minutes walk from Gakushuin.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how the Italian name for your restaurant is Pizzeria e Trattoria Ghiotto, which doesn't have the word "chimney" in it. It means "pizzeria and small restaurant 'glutton'". The pizza looks decent. I like thin crusts, unlike the American and Japanese ones which just try to inflate the volume to rake in cash.
It's so pity that the restaurant is only in Ibaraki... It's so far from my home! If I have a chance to go Ibaraki, I may go and try that restaurant.
